The market traded little changed today. After opening a bit weaker the major averages climbed most of the remainder of the session. All finished high in their intraday trading ranges. The COMPQ and the NDX gained .18% and .11% respectively. The SPX fell .05%. Volume was mixed, higher on the NASD and lower on the New York. Leading stocks were little changed also with the leaders index falling .07% on the day. The index closed in about the middle of its trading range on lower and below average volume. The market put in a quiet session overall with little changes in the major averages and the leaders index. The market continues to trade sideways as it consolidates recent gains. Leading stocks are starting to lag a bit as the relative strength of the leaders index is weakening. TSLA reports earnings tomorrow and next week starts a string of important earnings releases. The market is acting alright , although it seems to be taking a rest. Jerry
