The market had another solid session today. The major averages opened higher and mostly worked their way up most of the day. All the major averages finished near the top of their intraday trading ranges. The NASD averages lagged today with the COMPQ and the NDX gaining .64% and .58% respectively. The SPX rallied .88%. Volume was mixed, higher on the New York and fractionally lower on the NASD. Leading stocks were strong again today. The leaders index gained 1.80% on the day and closed high in its trading range. Volume was higher and about average. There were also a good number of breakouts today. The market put in a good session today. The major averages posted good gains as the recent positive action continued. The major averages posted good gains and closed strong. Volume cooperated on the New York. There were a good number of breakouts today and leading stocks are acting well. NFLX reported after the close and the stock is trading higher in the aftermarket. The picture continued to improve today as the market showed good gains. Leading stocks are also acting well. It is still to early to know how long this renewed rally will last, but things are looking alright now and participating is the right move.
