The market had a strong session all around today. After liking what Powell had to say the markets opened higher and unlike yesterday rallied into the close. All the major averages finished near their intraday trading highs. The strength was pretty even. The COMPQ and the NDX gained 1.18% and 1.09% respectively. The SPX rallied 1.02%. Volume was higher across the board. Leading stocks lagged the major averages with the leaders index gaining .36% on the day. The index closed high in its trading range on lower and below average volume. The index also held its short term moving average support. The market had a strong session all around today. The market liked Powell’s comments today before the House and rallied all day. Unlike yesterday the strength continued into the close and all the major averages ended strong. The gained were well dispersed with all the major averages and the small and mid-cap averages had one percent plus gains. Volume confirmed today as well. The rally is still on solid ground and acts like it wants to go higher. Jerry
