The market had a good session today as the major averages recovered a some much of yesterday’s losses. The major averages sold off early but recovered and rallied into the close. All the major averages finished near their intraday trading ranges. The NASD averages were the weakest while the small and mid-cap stocks showed strength. The COMPQ and the NDX gained .28% and .07% respectively. The SPX was higher by .47%. Volume was lower across the board. Leading stocks were mixed. The leaders index fell .37% while other indexes of leading growth stocks were higher. The market put in a solid session today. The major averages closed strong and regained a good bit of yesterday’s losses. Market internals were very solid today as well. The market is acting well overall and riding the rally is the way to go. Jerry
