There was much accumulation during the first 30 minutes and then distribution started.
Usually, the first 30 minutes are used to clear the order book accumulated overnight (or during the weekend.)
I guess that many retail investors were bullish during the weekend.
The week going into Thanksgiving is still traditionally positive for equities though.
