In conducting my weekend research I found fewer stocks than normal warranting attention. When waiting for a market to come out of correction I want to see stocks with great fundamentals setting up in proper base formations. A handful of flat bases have formed such as AFSI, BCEI, NVGS, RH and VNCE.
I still have a neutral posture going into the week with one long (CMG) and one short (CTRX). There are times to take a vacation from the market, this could be one. In growth stock investing portfolio gains come in spurts and it is easy to give the gains back if you press you luck when the market isn't set up properly.
