The market continued to move higher today with gains ranging from .37% on the NYA to .16% on the COMPQ. The major averages finished near their highs of the session, a sign of strength. Volume was very low as would be expected on a short trading session before a holiday. Leading stocks were mixed as the leaders index declined .41% on very low volume. The market seems to want to go higher and will probably drift higher on light volume until after the holiday season is over and everyone is back at work. The market’s action after that will give us an idea where it is going and the fate of the rally. I hope everyone has a happy Christmas tomorrow and a good New Year. Jerry
