The market was a bit higher yesterday in a generally quiet session. The major averages rose about .4% on volume that was slightly lower across the board, which is not unusual on a Friday. All the major averages made new highs for the move. Leading stocks outperformed the overall market with the leaders index rising .74% on lower but still slightly above average volume. The RS line of the index also made a new high. Both the major averages and quality stocks still look to be on solid ground and the rally continues. Jerry
