My database for the SIGR file is now in a big mess due to various problems with the data files downloaded from Marketsmith and programming mistakes I made trying to correct the problems in my Excel files. This week’s file would only present aberrant and unreliable data so Pascal and I decided to suspend the posting of the SIGR file until further notice.
Pascal will revert back to his own RS sector rankings for all other database files that were using SIGR data for sectors ranking up to now.
IBD/Marketsmith subscribers can still approximate the RS evolution of their 197 Industry Groups by simply tracking the RS line on the IG charts, but of course it lacks the correlation with the 33 sectors and the access to historical details.
I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and be assured that I did my best to try to deliver a correct file this weekend but without success.
