I hope everyone who was in the path of Sandy is ok and recovering well. The market reopened today after being closed for two days. The major averages were down most of the session and finished little changed. Volume was up a bit in the Nasd and clearly higher on the NYSE(according to esignal). Leading stocks were up a bit more than the overall market as the leaders index rose .66% on lower but still above average volume. The chart seems to be ruled by it's declining 9dma. The market remains pretty weak overall and the Compq traded below it's 200dma intraday and closed right on it. The index has now bounced around this important moving average for a week now and is likely to break below it if it can't rally soon. Jerry
