The market had a good day today as the major averages opened mixed but then rallied to close at the highs of the day and had gains of over 1%. The NYA joined all the other averages above it's 200dma. Volume was mixed, lower on the NYSE and higher on the Nasd. Leading stocks continued to outperform with the leaders index rising 1.73% on higher volume. The volume of the index has risen in the last few days as it has steadily advanced. The tone of the market has clearly improved and it appears the rally is gathering strength. Jerry
